Refund policy
Last updated
If a module is not right for you, ask for your money back within 30 days of your order. You do not need to give a reason, although we would like to hear it: if something does not work, we may be able to fix it.
The 30-day money-back guarantee
- It applies to every purchase on this site: new licences, renewals and both platform editions.
- Ask within 30 days of the order date. We refund the full price of the module you ask about, including any VAT you paid on it.
- You can ask for a refund whether or not you have downloaded or installed the module.
- Free modules cost nothing, so there is nothing to refund.
How to ask for a refund
- Email info@softawarecommerce.com from the email address of your account, or open a support ticket.
- Give your order number and the module you would like refunded. If the module did not work for you, tell us what happened: we will gladly help first if you would like us to.
- We make the refund and confirm it by email.
How you are paid back
Refunds go back to the card or payment method you used, through Stripe. Stripe sends the money straight away; depending on your bank or card issuer, it usually appears on your statement within 5 to 10 working days.
What happens to your licence
- The refunded purchase is removed from your licence. If it was your only purchase of that module, the module disappears from My modules and your Composer keys can no longer install or update it.
- If you refund a renewal, only the 12 months it added are removed; the rest of your licence stays as it was.
- Please uninstall the module from your stores. Its licence check will show a notice in the Magento admin and, after at least 14 days, can switch the module off, as described in the licence terms.
After 30 days
After 30 days we do not normally refund purchases. Your statutory rights are not affected: if a module is faulty or not as described and we cannot fix it, you are still entitled to a remedy, which may include a refund. See also our returns page and the terms and conditions.
